Impacts
The impact of my work is ensuring that both new and existing commercial buildings at risk of vapor intrusion are safe for their occupants. I hope my efforts educate both the private and public sectors about the importance of addressing vapor intrusion and the effective methods for its mitigation. I aim to foster a proactive approach to protecting public health and the environment.
What are you passionate about?
I have a deep passion for life, fueled by my commitment to the environment, the well-being of children, the richness of diverse cultures, and my pride in Texas A&M. Together, these passions drive me to create positive change in the world and inspire others to do the same.
Describe your educational history
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Bioenvironmental Sciences from Texas A&M in 2017. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in summer study abroad programs in China and South Korea, enriching my understanding of global environmental challenges.
What advise would you give to the current Aggies interested in entering environmental industry?
The environmental industry intersects with nearly every industry and includes its own specialized niches. I encourage Aggies to explore various avenues within this field to discover their passions. Focus on what inspires and motivates you, then develop the skills to excel in that area. Continuously seek new skills to gain diverse perspectives, while also striving to become a specialist in a specific aspect of the environmental industry.
If you were entering the environmental industry today, what area would you pursue? Why?
I would pursue a career in ESG with a focus on sustainable finance. I believe that a thorough understanding of the financial implications of environmental sustainability is essential for driving meaningful change in addressing environmental issues.
