Minor in Bioenvironmental Sciences
Our undergraduate minor complements your degree to provide you with an additional competitive advantage as you search for job and career opportunities after graduation.
By completing a minor, students will gain a foundation in core areas such as hotel operations, event management, food and beverage management, and tourism development.
High Impact Opportunities for Undergraduates
High-impact learning happens when students are actively engaged in the educational process and their experience expands beyond the classroom and is applied in their personal and work lives. BESC students have the opportunity to participate in professional internships to master new skills and expand their professional networks. The annual Poster Symposium allows them to talk about their internship experiences while competing for prizes. Many opportunities exist for students to engage in primary research in departmental laboratories.
