Biography

Joe Etheridge is the Corporate Environmental Manager for Select Energy Services, LLC – a privately held oil & gas service company primarily focused on delivering drilling, completions, and production solutions to producers operating in shale plays. Mr. Etheridge has almost a decade of experience in the upstream energy sector, handling a wide variety of air, water, and waste issues associated with the industry – both onshore and offshore. His experience includes regulatory applicability screening and permitting of new acquisitions for upstream (exploration and production) assets, corporate environmental audit lead for global management systems, remediation and project management, emergency response, and crisis management, and as an environmental resource for due diligence efforts. In addition, Mr. Etheridge has continually improved field-related oil and gas production and environmental strategies by leveraging innovation and technology – most recently by developing the Lower 48 Forward-Looking Infrared (FLIR) Camera Operating procedure/program for ConocoPhillips.

Mr. Etheridge has extensive knowledge of environmental regulatory policy and rule-making from his experience working in the Emissions Banking & Trading group of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) – Air Permit Division. While at ConocoPhillips, Mr. Etheridge served as the environmental lead for the Eagle Ford Shale Development Team and also represented the company on the Texas Oil & Gas Association’s (TXOGA) Production Environmental Committee (PEC).

Mr. Etheridge resides near Cat Spring, Texas with his wife Amy and boy/girl twins – Windom and Piper. He is an avid outdoorsman with a penchant for saltwater fishing and bird hunting.
