High Impact Opportunities for Undergraduates
High-impact learning happens when students are actively engaged in the educational process and their experience expands beyond the classroom and is applied in their personal and work lives. BESC students have the opportunity to participate in professional internships to master new skills and expand their professional networks. The annual Poster Symposium allows them to talk about their internship experiences while competing for prizes. Many opportunities exist for students to engage in primary research in departmental laboratories.
