Current Position:
I am an Executive Consultant with Krause Bell Group. I work with organizations on developing effective safety, health, and environmental leadership that improves overall business performance.
Job duties:
I conduct leadership assessments, provide coaching and training, and assist organizations in identification of safety, health and environmental improvements and sustaining those improvements.
Impacts:
We save lives, prevent injuries, and improve environmental stewardship.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about the work I do at Krause Bell every day to make sure we all go home safe at the end of the day to our families and friends. I am also passionate in helping recent college graduates find a career that they look forward to going to work every day and are excited about their future.
Describe your educational history:
I have a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Texas A&M University, a Masters in Science from University of Houston at Clear Lake with an emphasis in Safety, and a year of law school.
What advise would you give to the current Aggies interested in entering environmental industry?
While most EHS professionals graduate from a science based programs, the top EHS professionals in their organizations develop people based skills. Join toast masters to learn to speak, or join environmental professionals organizations to learn how to network.
If you were entering the environmental industry today, what area would you pursue? Why?
I would pursue work related to development of EHS strategies and policies based on EHS predictive analytics.
