  2. Into BESC - Come to the BESC undergraduate advising office in room 101 of the Peterson Building to fill out a change of curriculum form

    Out of BESC - See the Academic Advisor of the major that you intend to change into.

  3. What is Scholastic probation?


  4. In BESC, it is when the students' overall GPA is below a 2.0.

  5. What courses at a junior college back home will transfer to A&M?


  6. The only way to be sure that a course at another institution will transfer to TAMU is to follow the TCCNS numbering system.

  7. Can I coenroll at Blinn in Bryan/College Station?


  8. Yes, but you must apply to Blinn just like you would apply to any college that you wanted to attend.

  12. No, Mr. Perez is a full-time academic advisor.

  13. How do I register?


  14. If you are not an incoming freshman or transfer student, you may register by phone or through the TAMU web registration site. Incoming freshmen and transfer students must register through the academic advisor during the new student conference.

  15. When do I register?


  16. Seniors first, then Juniors, then Sophomores, then Freshmen. Current students pre-register at designated times set by the University. In the fall semester it usually starts the second week in November. For the Spring, it usually starts the second week of April.

  17. Do I have to register over the phone?


  18. No, you can register with your advisor.

  19. Can I take a correspondence course?


  20. Yes. You may take up to 12 hours worth of correspondence courses.
